About Us
Enabling.IT (R&D) is the collaboration between two guys who used to work together in a pizza shop! (whilst at college) But seriously since then Ben Deakin and Peter Lewis have over 20 years experience in the development and sales of computer software and web-based applications.
Enabling.IT (R&D) Ltd was founded in October 2009 and ever since we have been working tirelessly to develop and prototype software / business models we believe, from our extensive experience, that businesses really need - not only to protect them against loss, but to ensure that should the worst happen, companies can pick up the pieces with the minimum of risk and the greatest of ease.
Sphere is the first project of many to come to market. Watch us over the next 24 months - we have some exciting and industry changing products in the pipeline!
Meet The Team
Ben Deakin CEO
Ben’s background is in E-Commerce, best practice and cost saving. After graduating university he went on to run on-line shops for Livingtv and Bravo, as well as creating online shops shops for brands and celebrities such as Derek Acorah and Dangermouse. Ben has held various senior management roles in sales and has acted as a specialist advisor to the government on the delivery of Assistive Technology to disabled children in education. He also holds a seat on the Board of Directors for the Karten Network, an Assistive Technology charity.
Peter Lewis CTO
Peter is the computing expert of the team! His portfolio of commercially released software he developed includes: QuickcreatePro, SuperHelp, and ActiveArchive. He has also created many bespoke IT-based solutions for clients, including online quoting systems, educational skills trackers and complete image deployment systems for computer resellers.
When he is not riding his motorbike, you can guarantee he'll be playing with the latest tech! (Solid state drives are his current toy!)
